Accessibility Statement

The דירות נופש website places the utmost importance on providing an equitable, respectful and accessible service to the general public, including people with disabilities. We invest resources and efforts so that every person can browse the site and use its services with ease and comfort, in the spirit of the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998, and the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Regulations (Service Accessibility Adjustments), 5773-2013.

Level of accessibility on the site

The site has been made accessible in accordance with the Israeli standard (IS 5568) “Guidelines for Web Content Accessibility,” which is based on the W3C’s WCAG 2.0 guidelines at Level AA, and it has been tested in the common browsers and on mobile devices.

Accessibility adjustments implemented

• Full keyboard navigation, with a clear and visible focus indicator on every interactive element.
• A “Skip to content” link at the top of every page, allowing direct access to the main content.
• Semantic and hierarchical heading structure, ARIA attributes and alternative text (alt) descriptions for images.
• Full support for screen readers and assistive technologies.
• Color contrast that meets the requirements of the standard, and full Hebrew right-to-left (RTL) directionality.
• Respect for the operating system’s “reduced motion” preference - animations are automatically reduced.
• The site is adapted for browsing on desktop, tablet and mobile phone (responsive).

Accessibility menu

On all pages of the site, a floating accessibility button (the international accessibility symbol) is displayed, which opens a menu of personal adjustments:

• Enlarging and reducing the text size (up to 150%).
• Dark contrast mode and grayscale mode.
• Highlighting links on the site.
• Switching to a legible and simple font.
• Stopping all animations and motion on the site.
• Preferences are saved on the device and apply to all pages of the site on subsequent visits.

Known exceptions

Despite our efforts to make all pages and components accessible, it is possible that parts of the site will be found that have not yet been fully made accessible, including content uploaded by advertisers (such as images in listings uploaded without a suitable description). We work on an ongoing basis to detect and correct deficiencies, and we welcome any inquiry that will help us improve.

Manner of providing the service

The service is provided online only, through the website, and does not involve physically visiting offices or receiving the public, and therefore no physical accessibility arrangements are required.
